The Center for Independence of Individuals with Disabilities is looking for disability community members and allies who want to support our goals for Independent Living and Disability Rights by volunteering with us. We are looking for volunteers, both virtual and in-person support, and have regular, ongoing opportunities, as well as occasional tasks.

Summary & Description:
Support the office with front desk tasks, including answering phones, getting the door, responding to online inquiries, and assisting walk-ins. There may be occasional office projects such as mailing, inventory management, and other similar tasks.
Assistive Technology (AT) Intern

Summary & Description:
Our AT program is looking for volunteers to help with labeling, sorting and doing inventory of our AT technology. This volunteer will also help clean, separate, dismantle parts, harvest donated devices for responsible recycling.
Blog Post/Content Researcher

This volunteer will support staff with researching content for monthly blog posts, with an emphasis on intersectional content. Draft blog posts and other social media content.
